One gives freely yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.
The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
2 Corinthians 9:6
He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?
In response to God’s boundless love for us, our natural response is to pour out our love and gratitude for Him. The Bible states in many instances that we are to be generous with the resources God gifted to us.
We continue to build a ministry where all are welcome and ignited to become intentional disciples of Jesus Christ!
We want to provide more experiences for our youth and families. We want to extend our evangelizing efforts to our community. We want to help those who need our help. We want to provide the best Mass experience. We want to continue to offer programs to further our faith journey. There are many ways we want to serve — and with your help, we can be the beacon of Christian Life where all are welcome to explore their faith journey.
Giving online (our preferred method) is simple and secure. Give a one-time gift or schedule ongoing donations using your checking account, debit or credit card. Please click on the tab below to get started.
If you drop a check in the collection basket, we will record your donation – no problem. There will be a record of giving at the end of the year.
Did you know that you can donate non-cash gifts? You can donate marketable securities such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds. You can also give other non-cash gifts or include Our Mother of Sorrows in your estate planning.
YEAR-END CHARITABLE GIVING
2019 will be a year of reaching out to more people to welcome to our church, to provide many opportunities for discipleship, and to develop new ways to help in our community. Our Strategic Plan explains the initiatives we will focus on in 2019. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, our parish will have the opportunity to be a beacon in Johnstown and to ignite people to become intentional disciples of Jesus Christ!
