What is the Care Ministry?

The Care Ministry is your hub for any service request you have that we can help with.  The team supports and combines resources already available through our current ministries to serve our parishioners during illness, times of loss, crisis, or need. Our goal is a more holistic approach by connecting ministries and volunteer resources with the needs of the people in our Church to the extent that we can.

I AM REQUESTING CARE

If you or someone you know could use care in the form of our various ministries listed below, please send us an email or call the Parish office with your request and a Care Minister will contact you.

EMAIL the CARE MINISTRY: omoscareministry@gmail.com

Please include as much information as you can about your request for care in your email.

WHAT SERVICES DO WE OFFER?

Our Care Minister will call to check on a person, listen to their situation, and connect them with ministries that are able to address the needs of the person.

There are parish cooks waiting to help with meals in the event of illness, new baby, or other reasons. We are able to set up a short term customizable plan.

God hears all Prayer. Let our Prayer team Pray for your intentions.

Begin the road to healing by receiving in-person prayer from our experienced prayer ministers.

We have a team of people who are willing to help out with small repairs around the house to help those who physically are unable or cannot afford to make necessary repairs.

We have a team of people who are willing to help out with an errand, groceries, etc. when the person is physically unable.

Unable to attend Mass? We can deliver Holy Communion to you.

Who Can Request Help?

Anyone! If you need care or you know a parishioner who needs care, please call the parish office 814-535-7646 or email us at omoscareministry@gmail.com.
