Holy Week
Join Us Holy Thursday | Adoration, Our Mother of Sorrows Rosary, & More
Our Mother of Sorrows Rosary in the Church Join us on Thursday, April 6 as we pray the Our Mother of Sorrows Rosary in the Church at 9:00 PM. This prayer is especially important to our parish. There will be other prayer opportunities happening throughout the evening (Adoration 8-11 PM; Charcoal Fire 8-11 PM; Office of Readings at 10 PM). Can’t join us in person? Here’s a link to pray on your own: https://hallow.com/2021/02/10/7-sorrows/
Another added thing we plan to do beginning Holy Thursday night is to provide unique prayer stations throughout the Church where you can ask for prayer for the many needs and concerns that often trouble our hearts. These prayer stations will be open after the Sacred Liturgy of the Lord’s Supper and available all day Good Friday, especially during our Night of Healing.
Join Us Good FridaY – Stations and Night of Healing Through the Cross
Night of Healing through the Cross on Good Friday, April 7 Beginning at 7 pm. We will start with music that will fit the moment and deepen our experience of the great Passion of the Cross. That will be followed by a guided healing meditation on forgiveness with opportunities for individual prayer where we can invite Jesus to heal any hurts, wounds, and memories that need healing.
Stations of the Cross will be available at St. Michael’s at 6 PM on Good Friday. Walking of the Stations will also be available on Good Friday (see below). Recording of the Stations of the Cross is available here: Virtual Resources – OMOS Catholic Church
Walking Stations
Participants are welcome to walk the neighborhood stations at their convenience between 10am – Noon and 3pm-5pm. Booklets and maps will be available on the porch of Holy Grounds. The 1.2 mile route will begin and end at the church campus. We hope you and your family will join us for this personal and prayerful experience as part of your Good Friday observations.
