JANUARY OUTREACH PROJECTS

CHASE AWAY THE WINTER DOLDRUMS BY PARTICIPATING IN THE JANUARY PROJECT FOR ST. MICHAEL'S AND OMOS

We can help find ways to connect with one another. This month a warm loaf of Cinnamon Bread may lead to shared smiles, new friendships, or a porch gift with a card! Also, construct Blankets for local children!

COMING UP! Make a Blanket for those in need.

We have two options for participation in this project.

  1. You may fund the purchase of a blanket kit, and OMOS will purchase the kits to distribute to volunteers for construction of the blankets……. or…..
  2. Sign up to construct a blanket. The directions are easy, and we will have help available for those who request it! No sewing involved! Sign up and you will be contacted.

You can individually, with your family, or your small group, easily construct a blanket following simple instructions. The blankets will be distributed to kids in our area who may not have the resources available to them.

Baking Connections

We may have had close to 400 loaves of bread made. It is difficult to tell, but there is evidence of baking and loaf sharing! In the isolation of winter, it is heartwarming to know that people can connect by way of a simple gesture.
